photo folly

I tried to take some pictures of the morning sky before sunrise today, but the fates were against me. For one thing, as I walked up capitol hill this morning, I realized that the resolution on the camera was set to its lowest setting. For another thing, when I got into work and actually opened the pictures, they were blurry because the camera apparently slowed its shutter speed to get enough light to take the picture, and that being the case, the picture was blurry. Actually, all three pictures I took were blurry, so into the trash they went. I'll know better next time. To console myself, I scanned in this picture of Mary-Louise Parker from this weekend's edition of LIFE magazine.
