Today is the kind of day when you know it’s a sin to be working indoors. There is a cool breeze this morning, and the sky is clear. Storms are certain to develop this afternoon, but that makes the clarity of the morning that much more beautiful.

My oldest son ‘graduated’ from kindergarten today. I know it’s silly to call passing from one grade to another ‘graduation’, but it’s a milestone nonetheless. He’s completed the first step of many that will take him on the path to adulthood, and there’s no turning back now. He’s not a little boy any more.
